Martin is a member of the Great Britain Taekwondo Academy based in Manchester. He has been practising taekwondo for almost twenty years and is a World and European bronze medallist in the -68kg category and Olympic Athlete of the Year for 2011.


Martin is one of the most successful british taekwondo players, he competed at the 2012 Olympic games narrowly missing out on a medal placing 5th. He aims to become the first ever british male world champion and has his sights on Rio 2016 were he hopes to be on the top of the podium.
